Trefor Stables is a small friendly family run private yard, situated 10 minutes from the A5 dual carriageway (junction 5) in the centre of the Island of Anglesey.

Facilities for livery and training horses and riders with their own horses alike include:

20 x 40 floodlit indoor arena
20 x 40 outdoor ménage
9 acres of land incorporating XC fences for all abilities, stream and water complex
Full set of coloured show jumps indoors or out
25 stables for livery (D.I.Y., part, or full, schooling and backing)
Monthly training clinics with BD/BE accredited coach

Bedding, hay or haylage can be purchased on the premises or you can organise your own.

Most of our current liveries are professional working people who only need to tend to their steads once a day, as we, as part of the service, will also do morning stable duties i.e. hang pre filled nets and feed your horse daily which is included in the fees. (Fees available on request).

Liveries, are also entitled to use both arenas free of charge, provided they have not been pre-booked, and join in all the yard activities, shows, demonstrations, BBQ’s etc,
