Blazing Saddles Riding Club was established at Trefor Stables Equestrian Centre, Trefor, Holyhead, Anglesey in 1995 and is our home based adults riding club.The main objectives are to encourage any adult over 25 to improve their riding and stable management skills in a safe, fun and friendly environment.Blazing Saddles sessions are held every Wednesday and Friday evenings and Sunday morning by arrangement, therefore we have the ability to run sessions to suit riders of all abilities and with different interest.Trained, qualified instructors are used and cover all aspects of equestrianism.We also organise various activities such as Equine Treasure Hunts, fun rides, road safety training, dressage competitions, introduction to Cross Country, clinics, demonstrations, fund raising events and BBQ’s. |
All our activities are open to non-members. Blazing Saddles Riding Club is looking forward to organising a weekend camp for adults, why should the children have all the fun!! Our facilities include a 20 x 40 indoor arena, a 20 x 40 outdoor ménage, 9 acres of land including XC jumps, a stream and water complex. Quarterly meetings are held in order that members can get together for a social evening. |
